What is ScooterLab?

ScooterLab is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded community research infrastructure that is deployed and operational at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). This publicly available micromobility testbed gives researchers access to a community of riders and a fleet of dockless e-scooters designed for high customizability across hardware, sensing payloads, and data collection workflows. The platform supports configurable experiments, flexible sensor integrations, and real-time collection of fine-grained mobility and environmental data.
