The Venue

The ScooterLab Workshop 2025 will take place at the Graham Weston Conference Center, located within UTSA’s San Pedro I (SP1) building at 506 Dolorosa Street in downtown San Antonio. SP1 is a state-of-the-art, 167,000-square-foot facility located at 506 Dolorosa Street in downtown San Antonio. Home to UTSA’s School of Data Science, it serves as a hub for education, research, and innovation. The building features classrooms, research centers, flexible event spaces, and the Graham Weston Conference Center. San Pedro I is LEED Gold certified, reflecting UTSA’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

Hotels

If you plan to attend the ScooterLab Workshop 2025 from a location outside San Antonio, we have compiled a list of hotels close to the venue to assist you in making your own arrangements. This list is not exhaustive, and you are encouraged to explore other options based on your preferences and requirements.

Please note that participants are responsible for managing their own hotel bookings and cancellations.

The six listed hotels offer a discounted rate in partnership with UTSA. Follow the instructions below to claim these rates while rooms are available.

Where to Park

You can park for free in any of the following lots:

Dolorosa Lot is the closest parking lot to San Pedro I. You can park in any unmarked spot (Please do not park in spots labeled “Dolorosa Permit”).

D1, D2, & D3 Lots are located under I-10. UTSA permit holders may park in any unmarked spot.

Local Transportation

From the Airport

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is approximately 9 miles (15–20 minutes by car) from UTSA San Pedro I (SP1). The following options are available for transportation:

• Taxi/Rideshare: Uber, Lyft, and local taxis are readily available at SAT and cost approximately $20–25 to the venue.
• VIA Bus: Route 5 and Route 7 connect SAT to the venue. More info.

UTSA students/staff can sign up for a free VIA bus pass here.

Board the 93 Bus for UTSA / Crossroads P&R / Downtown at the UTSA Campus Oval and get off at the Dolorosa Opposite Plaza De Armas stop (directly in front of the San Pedro I building).
